Lorenzo & Stephanie’s Marine Blue Wedding
Blog readers may remember Lorenzo & Stephanie from their appearance just a short time ago and not much has changed since then. Except, of course, they are married now!
I arrived at the hotel to photograph the details as the girls got ready. Stephanie had the expected wedding day jitters, but as she got ready looked just beautiful and the tension eased. But still, something just wasn’t right…until they saw each other. Until they were together. Stephanie’s smile was back and she was complete again. And so was Lorenzo. They flew to Hawaii to start life together and I couldn’t be more happy for the two of them. It was such a pleasure to be there to capture the day.
Stephanie & Lorenzo’s Park Engagement Session
I hadn’t met either Lorenzo or Stephanie until the engagement session. We’d emailed a bit but never had the chance to meet. Stephanie explained that sometimes her smiles seems false to others in photographs. They may be true other times but not this day. I immediately learned the secret to Stephanie’s genuine smile…Lorenzo. One look at his face and she’d light up. He’d whisper something in her ear and she would laugh out loud. I’ve never seen them apart from each other but in my short time with them, I am convinced they are better together.
I love this last one. I think it’s more than just a fun photo but a glimpse into their lives as they leap into this next chapter. Stephanie & Lorenzo will be married in less than two weeks and I am honored to be there to capture all of it.

Gray & Yellow Vineyard Wedding
When I met Katie I knew immediately that her calm demeanor was unlike most brides I have worked with. She’s a woman that knows what she wants and carries herself with dignity and class. That couldn’t have been more true on the day of her wedding. She was calm and collected and ready to marry the man she loves.
Micah too but in a different way. He describes himself as the “mature one” of his friends. And, I think he’s right.
He has a quiet and relaxed attitude that combines with Katie and makes them great to be around.
Their wedding was at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton and the weather was PERFECT. They chose to see each other before the ceremony (which I love!) and we were able to capture some amazing photographs of their first look. There is just something about the moment when the bride and groom see each other that I adore…and I love it so much more when they get to have that moment alone (well, alone with a photographer or two.)
My favorite highlights:
- The yellow and gray details…just beautiful
- A bridal party that kept me laughing all day
- Micah and Katie seeing each other and capturing their “First Look”
- …And I’m pretty sure I can still hear everyone singing Call Me Maybe while tearing up the dance floor
