When Carmen arrived, there was a flurry of activity as she and the bridesmaids got ready.  After a time, we walked down to photograph the “First Look” where Jeff and Carmen would see each other before the ceremony.  This often turns out to be one of my favorite times of the day.  There is no pressure or stress…just an quiet moment for the bride and groom.  As usual, some of my favorite photographs came from that time.

Other highlights:

  • Carmen’s brother made a traditional Dominican cake that was beyond yummy.
  • The grounds of the Buhl Mansion made a beautiful backdrop for the evening.
  • Orchids everywhere…need I say more?
